How your privacy is protected. Your offer is stored not against your name or email, but against a one-way code (an HMAC) derived from your email and a secret value. That means the organiser cannot casually or accidentally see who made which offer while viewing or analysing the data. Since the organiser holds the secret key and the list of members they could technically de-anonymise offers, but they promise not to do so.
